Arguments – Why You Should Make Your Devotions Daily?
A servant of God received an compelling message over the phone: “So and so is in the hospital, at the point of death. Please come forthwith and bind as to whether he should attend to the Lord’s Ministry in his office or to go to the hospital to say his prayers for this man.
He decided to pray for the hospitalized man in a around church, he wept bitterly before the Lord. He prayed with tears pleading with God : “O Lord, deliver this man from death. Give me the Grace to lead this man through the path of uprightness.” After a extended strain, this man of God heard from the Lord, “Go your way; he lives.” After the promise from the Lord, the servant of God went back from the church and informed the caller, “That man will not die; God will raise him up.” True enough! God raised him up.
We can feel the presence of the Lord when we say our prayers. We can pour out our heart at His feet with our Christian prayers. The Lord will patently heed our invocations made in his house. So, let’s get going to pour out our needs and grief at his feet. This way we will be able to fill our diurnal life with his presence and blessing. Our family, friends and each and every one we know will be wholesome, propitious and protected from evil spirits. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD (Psalm 122:1).
