Human Growth Hormone and Its Functions

The Human Growth Hormone is one of the essential hormone which is essential for the proper growth of the individual in terms of height. Drawfism is a condition that is caused due to lack of Human Growth hormone or substantial decrease in the level of Human Growth Hormone.

Human growth hormone is secreted by the pituitary glands and is involved in roles specific to it which include growth regulation, initiation of cell regeneration and ensuring proper metabolic activities in the human body.

The other functions include the role in ensuring a younger looking skin, it helping the body to get rid of excess of cellulite, keeping our bones strong and healthy and at the same time enhances the energy levels of the body.

In an ideal case the body continues with the production of the human growth hormone during most of the individuals lifetime though the amount produced sees a significant dip as the individual ages.
