Garmin 260W GPS Review

The Garmin nuvi 260W is Garmin’s top selling entry level nuvi 200 series. A 4.3″ wide screen version of the smaller nuvi 260, the 260W is similar to it in many ways.  It says the actual street names in real time too.  It has all of the data pre-loaded onto your receiver so all you need to do is turn it on and go! It uses a simple text-to-speech program.

Most people who own the Nuvi 260 tout its intuitive design and easy to use interface saying that it’s simple to operate without even reading through the Quick Start manual that’s provided, and also appreciate its built-in antennae.

With the free Garmin Garage feature, users can completely customize their travel experiences by choosing from many different car-shaped icons to represent their position on the map display.
